Adept Resourcing are recruiting for a skilled NDT Operative to join a leading technical manufacturing team in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a key role within a renowned company in the metallurgical and technical manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine control checks, validate inspection processes and verify equipment calibrations Evaluate results and make accept/reject decisions based on customer acceptance criteria Interpret specifications and assist in the production of NDT techniques for Level III approval Assist with audits to ensure continued compliance with NDT accreditations, such as NADCAP and UKAS Conduct non-destructive examination of castings using radiography (X-ray) to reveal internal discontinuities Operate computerised radiography systems with Phosphor Imaging Plates Process films, check radiographs against samples, and ensure correct setup Perform control checks, processor monitoring, and verify equipment calibrations Maintain and restock darkroom cupboards, replenishing processing solutions Required Skills and Experience: Qualified to EN4179 / NAS410 Level 2 (castings experience preferred but not essential) Experience in radiography, DPI, or FPI, with transferable skills Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate inspection results Ability to work effectively in a team and independently to meet production targets Familiarity with NDT accreditations and industry standards Shifts & Pay: Initial 2-shift rota: 6am β 2pm and 2pm β 10pm A third night shift (10pm β 6am) will be introduced within 3-6 months Permanent night shift option available Late shift paid at normal rate + 25% uplift Night shift paid at normal rate + 36% uplift Other Benefits: Competitive salary β DPI Qualified Β£28,600, Radiography Β£30,500 + shift allowances Great working environment with a supportive team that values its employees Opportunities for professional development and career progression If you are an experienced NDT Operative with the required qualifications and can work all shifts (or permanent nights), apply now to join a fantastic team in South Yorkshire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
