Database Developer Our client is a dynamic and innovative Manchester organisation dedicated to leveraging real-time data performance to drive our operations. As part of their in-house IT team of 12, youll play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining their data infrastructure, supporting critical systems, and ensuring operational excellence. We seek a highly skilled DBA to join our client’s expert IT team. As our database specialist, youll manage and maintain complex database environments, focusing on PostgreSQL and Redis, while troubleshooting real-time data queries and optimising system performance. Youll handle databases hosted on-site, in AWS and Kubernetes environments, with a chance to expand into MySQL systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain PostgreSQL and Redis databases. Optimise and manage existing database systems for peak performance. Troubleshoot and resolve real-time data query issues. Implement and manage database replication across multiple sites and instances. Maintain databases across on-site, AWS, and Kubernetes environments.
