Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are currently seeking a qualified Heat Pump Engineer to cover the Leeds & York area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing and maintenance work on Air Source Heat Pump systems
  • Fault finding and repairs on Air Source Heat Pump systems
  • Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on Heat Pump systems
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining Heat Pumps, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
  • In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1 (beneficial)
  • F-Gas qualifications (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)

Salary & Benefits:

  • 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Attractive out-of-hours and overtime rates
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Salary: Β£38,000 to Β£42,000 per year, depending on experience
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
