As an OT Solutions Architect you will work within the Networks and Control Program (NCP). The NCP area comprises of SCADA (GE EMS, and Reliance), Data Historian, Operator Console and a number of OT applications and Protocols that are typically used in Power Utilities industry. Involve with the teams to design and implement OT solutions that integrate with existing other OT and IT systems and infrastructure. Ensure that OT solutions align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate, select, and implement OT applications such as Data Historian, Reimagination of Operator Console, Simulators, CIM, GIS and other Situational Awareness applications etc. Security and Compliance: Ensure OT solutions adhere to cybersecurity best practices and comply with relevant standards (e.g., Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect OT systems from potential threat.
Provide innovative methodologies to identify and solve development, migration, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability issues. Whiteboard architecture reviews, write technical collateral and help build reusable artefacts for the organisation. Generate technical deliverable like conceptual and logical solution architecture by collaborating with Networks, Security, Infra and Data architecture teams in same and other domains.
Working experience in Operations Technology based applications like Data Historian, RTU, SCADA, Wide Area Management, Frequency Response etc. Keen understanding of CIM Model, experience with handling large amounts of real-time data, Data integration and Big Data analytics. Work experience in Power Systems, Cloud concepts understanding including Kubernetes and Containers, and other platforms like AWS, OpenShift etc.
Ability to work with Product Owner, Product Manager, Development, Testing and Implementation teams. Good exposure and expertise with projects involving Agile Methodology are pivotal. Demonstrated ability to recognize and communicate project risks. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout the project development and successfully managing the customer expectations.
