PR Manager – acting as the most senior media relations specialist in global boutique law firm. London based with hybrid working (3 days in the office).

This is a global boutique law firm which is top of its game and drives innovation across a number of interesting areas including international trade, aerospace and energy. There is therefore plenty of content for the PR Manager to work with. You will work across the firm’s industry groups to develop and prioritise PR and media relations activities.

Specifically, this will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists in the legal, trade and mainstream press; Work with the partners to understand trends in their sectors and help them secure commentary in the relevant press; Securing media coverage for the different industry groups; Providing media training; Measurement and reporting on ROI; Supporting and providing guidance on legal directory submissions.

You will have solid PR and media relations experience gained either in a major law firm or other professional services environment. Alternatively, your experience may have been gained in a PR agency aligned to the legal sector. Charisma is key to this role including the ability to influence partners. You will also display a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent judgment.
