Panel Wirer

Brownlee Cale are working with an Engineering and Technology firm that are looking for Panel Wirers to join their manufacturing branch. They produce a range of panels, from small control panels to large packaged substations and control centres.

PAYE JIB rates:

• Rate 1 – Up to 37.5 hours Monday-Friday (PAYE £15.53 p/h)
• Rate 2 – Over 37.5 hours Monday-Friday and first 6 hours on Saturday (£23.30 p/h)
• Rate 3 – Over 6 hours on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday (PAYE £31.06 p/h)

Core shift pattern is 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday at 37.5 hours a week with optional overtime. Typically Saturday mornings and additional hours during the week.

Required Experience:

• Good electrical knowledge and ability to read schematic drawings,
• Previous experience of wiring complex control panels,
• Able to provide personal small hand tools (cable cutters, pliers, cable strippers, snappers, spanners etc)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Able to commence working with minimal training
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Productive team member within a small production team

Please note that this role is 6 months Umbrella PAYE contract with a potential for a permanent PAYE position if the candidate is performing well. They do not accept applications from CIS or PSC candidates.
