We’re looking for a meticulous and motivated Fire Damper Inspection & Remedial Engineer to carry out on-site inspections, identify issues, and ensure remedial actions are taken swiftly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting and testing fire dampers in buildings to ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations
- Identifying and reporting faults or failures, recommending and implementing remedial works
- Collaborating with team members to complete accurate documentation and reports
- Advising and supporting junior staff with technical guidance
- Ensuring correct and safe use of tools and PPE
- Hands-on experience in fire damper inspection and maintenance
- Sound understanding of fire safety regulations and HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A full, clean driving license and willingness to travel across sites
