Are you passionate about supporting and nurturing young lives? 360 CRS is proud to announce the opening of our very first Children’s Home in the Northeast where we have the honour of supporting up to six young people. This enriching children’s multi-home is designed to meet the highest standards for specialist placements, offering a truly unique environment for care and development.

Set on 120 acres of stunning countryside, the home is a beautifully converted barn and farm, offering a peaceful and therapeutic setting. With an equestrian centre nearby, the location provides exceptional holistic benefits for both staff and young people. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To assist in providing a safe and nurturing home environment for children and young people, appropriate to their age, understanding and identified needs.
  • Provide support with all aspects of their daily lives and encourage them to engage in decision making relating to their care.
  • To encourage and support all young people to take responsibility for their self-care and personal hygiene appropriate to their age.
  • To ensure that good health and welfare is promoted and that the needs of young people are identified, and services provided to meet these.
  • To develop positive relationships with young people and enable them to develop their existing skills and learn new ones.
  • To act as a positive role model and actively prepare and support young people when leaving care to enable them to make a successful transition into adulthood.
  • To maintain a regular system of recording in connection with each young person, to be involved in the development and implementation of individual care plans and to provide reports as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience working with Children and Young People, ideally in a residential setting is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Relevant qualification in Level 3 Residential Childcare diploma (or a willingness to undertake the qualification and training).
  • Ability to write clear and detailed reports.
  • Be of good character and integrity.
  • Resilience and tenacious qualities.
  • Have a positive attitude and good sense of humour.
  • A strong commitment to high-quality care and our core values.
  • Excellent team-working skills.
  • Self-motivation and adaptability.
