Our client is looking for someone who has some plumbing and/or electrical based experience that is keen to learn a new career and be trained and willing to absorb knowledge from the experience and existing engineers within the business.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to have a Full UK driving licence and be over 21 years of age for fleet insurance purposes. The role will require you to attend customer sites across Greater London area and to carry out servicing and maintenance of surface water and foul water pumping stations. You will service Domestic and Commercial pumping systems, install and maintain them and respond to Emergency Call outs to investigate and provide solutions to pump system failures.
Training will be provided and upon initial evaluation period a company van will be supplied. Our client is looking for a person who can work individually and as part of a team where required.
Work Hours: 40 Hours a Week + Call out weekend rota
Core Hours: 8am-5pm, but the role requires flexibility as some days it’s early finish and some days later. Call out rota is based on start Friday 6pm until Monday 8am. For a fully competent pump engineer would mean it’s a 1 in 4 rota at weekends.
