Compliance OfficerCentral London HybridWe're currently working with a fabulous specalist property law firm in London, renowned for their high quality work across HNW and international clients. They're currently looking for a Compliance Officer/Manager to join their team as a true generalist.The Role?This is a unique chance to step into a key role in the business. You will be part of a collaborative well-established team and have real influence on shaping compliance procedures and risk management practices across the firm.

Maintain and oversee the firm’s compliance framework across AML, SRA, GDPR, and other regulatory obligations
Conduct internal audits and file reviews; implement any necessary remedial actions
Act as point of contact for compliance queries and regulatory changes
Lead training sessions for legal and support staff on regulatory compliance matters
Monitor and update the firm’s policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with best practices and legal requirements
Liaise with external bodies (e.g., the SRA, Law Society) as required
Assist with CQS accreditation maintenance and lender panel compliance obligations

About you?

4+ compliance experience within a law firm.
Strong knowledge of SRA Codes of Conduct, AML regulations, GDPR, and other relevant legislation
Experience working in a conveyancing or property law context is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels
You must be a compliance generalist
