The Role:
- You’ll be responsible for inspecting fire doors across sites in East Anglia and occasionally throughout the UK, ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations.
- Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Conducting thorough fire door inspections on-site
- Quoting for any required remedial work
- Liaising with the technical team to schedule fitters and technicians
- Assisting with installations in the early stages of training
- Providing excellent customer service during site visits
- Staying away from home occasionally (all expenses covered)
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally, some experience in fire door inspections (preferred, not essential)
- Carpentry, DIY, or handy person experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight
- Full UK driving licence
