Konker is currently recruiting for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a RIBA practice based in rural Somerset/Exmoor. Due to a variety of new projects coming into the practice, they are seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is confident working across all RIBA Stages to join them.
This practice of 6 has recently become employee-owned, giving you extra benefits as an employee within the business, including a tax-free bonus, subject to profit/personal performance. They work on a wide variety of projects across Devon and Somerset including barn conversions, bespoke new builds, listed and historic buildings plus much more. They will provide mentoring/support for your Part 3 too.
The Position:
- Working across all RIBA Stages
- Using Vectorworks (Training Given)
- Liaising with clients and different stakeholders
- Project Management and Contract Administration
- Helping other colleagues in the office
Salary for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant position is between £28,000-£35,000 depending on previous experience.
To Be Considered:

- Live within a commutable distance of Exmoor / Somerset
- Driver license and car owner
- Hold a Master of Architecture / MArch or relevant qualification
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and UK Planning System
- Previous experience using Vectorworks is advantageous
