We're looking for a strong administrator to join the Health and Safety team on a part time basis as a Safety Systems Officer. During this 6 month contract, you'll help support the running of the team with responsibilities for triaging and allocating queries and tasks, helping to manage our accident and incident reporting process, and managing our lone worker device provision and collating statistics across different areas to identify trends.
You'll also assist with the creation and editing of guidance and communication for the business, including content in internal communications and on our group sites H&S Information Hub, and Wellbeing Matters.
This extremely varied role needs someone who is confident and can use their strong data and time management skills to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. To be successful in this role, you'll also need strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail as well as experience and good knowledge of working with Microsoft Office programmes. Health and Safety qualifications aren't necessary to succeeding in this role, but knowledge of the role the team plays in the business and a desire to help ensure the safety of our staff and customers are key.
Please note this role is 18 hours to be worked 9:00-17:00 Monday and Tuesday, 9:00-13:00 Wednesday.
