Are you an experienced HCA looking for a new challenge for a competitive rate of pay? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Clinical Health Care Assistants to join our team at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, working on behalf of the NHS. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients with varying mental health needs, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with their daily activities, monitor their well-being, and contribute to the overall care and treatment plans.

Competitive pay rates:

  • £15.75 per hour PAYE for weekdays
  • £20.48 per hour PAYE on Saturdays
  • £25.21 per hour PAYE on Sundays

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assisting with personal hygiene, meals etc.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition and behaviour
  • Assist with admission and discharges
  • Document patient care activities and observations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting
  • Understanding of mental health conditions and principles of care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
