Centric Talent is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our clients night shift based at their warehouse in Waltham Abbey. Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of bathroom, kitchen and plumbing products, supplying products to retailers up and down the UK. They are looking for people to join their warehousing team, who fit the bill - dynamic, driven, and adaptable.
To be successful in this role candidates must have a FLT counterbalance license and have strong demonstrable experience working within a fast-paced warehouse. In-house licences can be accepted.
Key Areas of Responsibility:- Responsible for picking and packing within a goods in and despatch environment.
- Work on the flow of goods in and out of the warehouses in line with business requirements and customer demands.
- Work towards KPIs to exceed targets.
- Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements to current processes or procedures.
- Strive to improve customer service through accuracy and quality (reduction in mispick/CNF, etc.).
- Complete regular stock counts/PIs accurately and within the financial boundaries.
- Ad-hoc projects as required such as moving stock, development of warehouse space.

Warehouse Operative: Essential Skills & Experience- Minimum of 5 years experience working in high service level warehouse.
- Proven success in improving warehouse systems and processes.
- Creative and innovative approach with a high customer service focus.
- Experience of working in high pressured environment managing high number of orders.
- Forklift licence is required (Minimum Counterbalance licence; Flexi Bendi an advantage).
- Competency in Excel, Word, WMS systems an advantage.
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Both numeracy and literacy skills at a proficient level.
- Strong communication skills.
The shift times available are: Nights Monday to Friday 10pm until 6am, 37.5 hours per week. Pay Rate £14.21 per hour paid monthly on the last day of each month.
