We are looking for a hard-working and reliable Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople, help maintain a safe and clean site, and carry out a variety of manual tasks to support day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be working to assist in converting an existing building into apartments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting groundworkers, bricklayers, carpenters, and other trades on site
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Preparing and cleaning work areas, including removing debris and hazards
- Mixing and preparing concrete or mortar by hand or with mixers
- Setting up site equipment, fencing, and signage
- Digging trenches and assisting with basic groundwork
- Carrying out general labouring duties as instructed by site supervisors
- Following all site health & safety rules and procedures
- Using hand and power tools (if trained)
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Previous experience on construction sites (preferred but not essential)
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of health & safety on site
