Then we have the perfect role for you… A leading provider of Mortgages and Protection is now looking for an experienced Mortgage Area Sales Manager to develop a team of Mortgage Advisors, covering a large area of offices.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the region's performance, with responsibility for the ongoing development of an existing team of fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage Advisors across a network of offices. This will include the setting of targets, recruitment, training, disciplines, motivation and working in close conjunction with the Office Managers.
- You will also ensure that your team adheres to the T&C scheme as well as FCA requirement of Treating Customers Fairly.
Responsibilities:
- Attendance at morning meetings to reinforce FS profile
- Regular visits to and 1:1 meetings with Advisors to monitor performance and business quality
- Liaising with FSD and Directors to ensure maximisation of opportunities
- Dealing with initial resolution of complaints
- Ensuring new Advisors are set up and integrated into their office environment
- Working alongside new Advisors and by means of discussion, role play and demonstration, ensure they become fully operational in a timely manner
- Perform 1st line compliance functions
- Demonstrate the sales process
- Be responsible for own business productivity
Experience / Qualifications:
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
- A successful sales record/history with previous experience in managing a team of Mortgage Advisors
- A full understanding of the Mortgage & Protection Markets
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of Financial Services sales and a full understanding of compliance regulations
- Previous managerial experience
- Ability to motivate and inspire others
- Proven background in mortgage advice and sales
- Problem-solving skills
- Hard working and focused
Remuneration:
- Basic Salary circa £50,000 per annum
- £85,000+ On Target Earnings
