gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for Yard Operatives for an ongoing temporary assignment in a Storage and Distribution centre, Swindon, Groundwell Industrial Estate, SN25. As a Yard Operative, your time will be split between both the yard and warehouse facilities.
Main Duties as a Yard Operative:
- Loading / Unloading containers
- Manual use of pump truck
- Stock replenishment into both yard and warehouse departments – when needed
- Transport of products throughout the yard as per supervisor request
- Working from pick & loading sheets and collecting picked items
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm
Hourly Pay Rates: Basic Rate - £12.21 p/h
There is no experience needed for the role, but we are looking for committed staff to join their existing team. Please mind, there may be heavy lifting involved.
As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.
