My client is a leading distributor, across 3 specific and diverse sectors. A requirement has been made to recruit a high-quality Export Sales Engineer to spearhead growth globally of their customised submersible marine engines solutions.
The role is to drive sales of their bespoke custom built range of engines globally, primarily for the Defence sector. The candidate will work closely with an International Sales Agent to develop sales and be reactive to enquiries as well as offering a solution based offering once speaking to customers.
The role is office based, but there would be monthly international visits for trade shows and engine product demonstrations. The role reports into a Sales Engineering Manager.
Candidate – Export Sales Engineer – Marine – Bespoke Design & Built Marine Engines:
- Proven export sales history required.
- Ideally knowledge & experience of selling an engine or propulsion based product. They would consider someone who has not done sales before, but is looking to move into sales and be technically strong.
- Preferable if the candidate has dealt with Marine Defence markets before.
- Commutable to a Southern based office with commitment to travel potentially twice a month overseas.
- The candidate must be technically strong and be able to communicate comfortably with customers.
