We are currently seeking a creative and adaptable Design & Technology Teacher to join our supply teaching team, working across a variety of secondary schools in the Wirral. Whether your specialism is Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Product Design, this role offers the chance to deliver hands-on, engaging lessons that bring DT to life.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils (KS5 is a bonus)
- Plan and teach practical and theoretical content in line with curriculum requirements
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop or classroom environment
- Support students of all abilities to develop skills and confidence
- Assess, record and report on pupil progress effectively
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in a DT subject such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering
- Experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
