Our client is a small business based near Castle Donnington. They are seeking an experienced Book-keeper to join their friendly team. This is a great role which offers plenty of variety and interest, working in a lovely environment in an established business. The position would suit an individual with a strong accounting background. Experience of working in property or lettings is advantageous but not essential.

Lettings:

  • Print off bank statements (Daily)
  • LL payment schedule (on excel)
  • Enter Tenants and Landlord Payments on Alto (Property Management software)
  • Batch payments
  • Pay LLs
  • Pay contractors and note commissions due to Marble
  • Annual tax returns for landlords
  • Reconcile all accounts and software

Sales:

  • Raise and check invoices on Exchange and issue to solicitors

General Office:

  • Create commission spreadsheets from agreed Ts and Cs
  • Check salaries
  • Issue payslips
  • Input invoices on to Quickbooks
  • Pay VAT / PAYE / Pension amounts
  • Liaise with accountants
  • Budget with MD (weekly)
  • Pay Contractors as part of office overheads
  • Order stationary from Amazon and Derby co and visit Go to Costco (twice a year)
  • Petty Cash items and office sundries

Health and Safety:

  • Annual meeting with Peninsula
  • Adhere to checklists with regard to H & S
  • Maintain personal records
