Our client is at an exciting stage of its development and is ready to appoint a senior Technology leader who will be responsible for managing, developing and optimising the IT infrastructure within this private equity backed global business services provider. This role requires a seasoned professional with a good technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a client-centric approach with previous experience transforming and running complex IT Operations.
The role will be hybrid with ideally two/three days a week in their offices in the Sheffield area. The position is a broad technology leadership challenge. It will lead and empower a diverse team across networking, systems, platforms, and IT support. It will oversee operational project delivery, develop and execute an operational technology roadmap, and continually evaluate current processes and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
The successful candidate will also be a leading technical advisor on IT operational matters, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in managing complex IT operations with a proven track record in planning, implementing, and maintaining scalable IT environments.
