Job Description:

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C++ and a strong background in crypto exchange connectivity. As a key member of the engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance trading systems, ensuring seamless connectivity with various cryptocurrency exchanges, and optimizing the trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-frequency trading systems using C++.
• Implement and optimize connectivity solutions for various cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Collaborate with traders and other engineers to develop and enhance trading strategies.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of trading systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to exchange connectivity and trading infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency markets and trading technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development using C++.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency exchanges and their APIs.
• Experience with high-frequency trading systems and low-latency programming.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi).
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and network protocols.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a crypto or financial services firm.
