DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global professional services firm who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team. The role will be responsible for developing pipelines and scripts that will deliver IT Infrastructure in both public and private cloud, incorporating security best practices. It will work alongside other teams to identify and prioritise automation opportunities and will also support fundamental cloud technologies including tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Work with infrastructure and application teams to understand current processes and opportunities for automation
- Design and develop standardised delivery pipelines that can be consumed by application teams to deploy infrastructure
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) for infrastructure automation
- Integrate other firm tooling such as Service Now for the provisioning of services
- Design, develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Application and Security Architects when new solutions are being conceived
- Identify, analyse, and resolve cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues
- Interact with other IT teams, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on their requirements
