Job Description

Job Title: Aircraft Component Technician

Salary: up to £30,000 dependent on experience + bonus

Location: Rayleigh, Essex

Aeropeople are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Component Technician on behalf of our client based in Rayleigh, Essex.

Established nearly 30 years ago, the company is a UK CAA, FAA, TCCA, EASA 145 & ISO 9001 approved MRO facility located near London Southend Airport. They specialise in servicing and supporting components for a global network of aviation partners. Their dedicated sales team provide AOG support for airlines worldwide. Experience and quality combined with third-party management; in-house repairs make them the perfect choice.

They provide comprehensive support for Commercial Aviation, Corporate Aviation & Military Aviation. Additionally, their extensive capability list offers services for well-known companies including: Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, British Aerospace, Augusta, Westland, Saab, ATR, Dassault, Lockheed, Fokker & Embraer components.

The role of Aircraft Component Technician is for their Interior Lighting division. Working hours are 8am- 4.30pm, Monday- Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Main Responsibilities:

Work compliantly with PCB electronic component repair techniques down to discreet component level.

The units repaired within the division are Interior fluorescent & LED Lighting.

Benefits:

Basic salary of up to £30,000 dependent on previous experience and industry relevance.

28 days holiday starting entitlement (Includes bank holidays).

About You:

Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential as we may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross train into the aviation industry.

Experience in engineering.

Experience in surface mount soldering (by hand not machine).

A recognized qualification in engineering.
