Product Management Graduate Programme Hybrid working Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50% of time split between the office and home over a four-week period. Our Technology & Data (T&D) team delivers the critical Information Technology services to our colleagues and customers, enabling over 1.65 billion journeys to be made each year within our capital. We play a pivotal role in keeping London moving and working, safely and sustainably. Whether it’s delivering 5G connectivity on the Tube, providing customers with real-time journey planning information at their fingertips via our TfL Go app, or providing critical radio communications to over 9,000 buses. We are delighted to introduce our inaugural Product Manager Graduate Scheme. As a Graduate Product Manager, you’ll get hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic and interesting roles in technology today. Positioned at the intersection of business strategy, user experience and digital technology delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our technology and digital experiences for both TfL’s customers and staff. This could involve: Helping to define the vision, strategy, success metrics, and roadmaps for our customer and business-facing technology products Conducting discovery sessions to uncover user and business needs, and prioritising what to build next Engaging in research, stakeholder and customer interviews, product metrics analysis, requirement definition, user journey mapping, ideation workshops, and facilitating key stakeholder meetings to secure buy-in for decisions Supporting live products by troubleshooting bugs and assisting with key technical deliveries Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders including designers, strategists, business analysts, engineers, and architects What will I be doing? As a graduate, your two-year development programme will consist of up to four placement rotations, each lasting around 3-6 months. Our goal is to equip you with the diverse skills and experiences necessary for a successful career as a product manager. You could work as a Graduate Product Manager in various teams within the T&D department, including Digital, Payments, Transport Services, and potentially other areas such as Data & Analytics. While the first-year placements are agreed upfront, the second year of the programme allows you to tailor your experience based on what you have enjoyed, areas where you wish to gain more expertise and opportunities available.
