We are working with a well-established nursery setting seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their team and ensure the highest standards of care and early years education. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced deputy or current nursery manager who is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of early years practitioners
  • Ensure high-quality care and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Manage nursery budgets, rotas, admissions, and operational processes
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies
  • Prepare for and respond to inspections and audits (e.g., Ofsted)
  • Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and record-keeping protocols

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (Level 5 or above desirable)
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an early years setting
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding practices, and Ofsted requirements
  • Confident leader with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Paediatric First Aid and up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
