Role Overview:
Responsible for developing, positioning, evolving, and optimising Apex Hotels food and beverage propositions from a marketing perspective as well as creating and delivering marketing plans across different channels and segments aligned to the tactical objectives, strategies and overall vision for the restaurants and bars. The Food & Beverage Marketing Lead will develop and sustain a culture of innovation and change within a fast paced and dynamic environment, challenging the status quo, identifying new opportunities, contributing to the F&B agenda and planning process and delivering the best experience for the guests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the annual F&B revenue targets and achieve set KPIs
- Development of the 3-year F&B strategy working closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand, identify, engage, and execute activity that promotes innovation, delivers positive F&B performance and is relevant to core target markets
- Identify, develop, and deliver annual marketing plans and promotions that innovate, are grounded in customer insight and are commercially and operationally viable to drive commercial performance and meet business targets and guest needs
- Create demand and maximise use of space with cost effective guest acquisition and campaigns to drive repeat, recency, frequency and advocacy
- Understand inventory, price, distribution and effective routes to market supported by wider functional specialists within the Commercial function
- Manage all affiliations, partnerships, and website listings along with associated promotional activity
- Create new and nurture existing partners and explore new F&B collaborations and partnerships
- Track and report consumer trends, guest, and competitor insights, identifying risks and opportunities
- Performance reporting including analysis, ROAS and ROI of individual campaigns and initiatives as well as reviewing and providing timely actionable insight on F&B performance and initiatives to inform both the business and future F&B activity
- Responsible for leading regular F&B meetings to ensure collaboration and alignment across departments and projects

- A proven track record in marketing, with social media and digital experience
- Recent and relevant results from a destination / experience led restaurant and bar business including target achievement, distribution and partnership expertise

- Experience partnering with senior executives, able to influence and persuade with the ability to build and maintain a level of trust and reliability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive and open relationships with the ability to work in a team environment and with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management and change management skills with proven experience in managing multiple outlet sites and market segments
- A background in analysing and interpreting food and beverage data and insights to drive performance and transformation, able to identify areas for continuous improvement and to generate innovative solutions
