ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is looking for a Senior Fixed Income Analyst of EMEA Evaluations to join our Pricing and Reference Data business. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide Evaluations for European structured securities on a daily basis. The candidate will work in a team environment and will interact with ICE's evaluations client base.
Responsibilities
- Produce daily evaluations of European structured securities using proprietary applications.
- Credit spread and quote research and cashflow analysis - interaction with market participants, analysis of primary and secondary markets.
- Maintenance of contacts with market participants.
- Interpretation of market information and application of this in the evaluation process.
- Daily client query handling.
- Contribute to Market Communications when required (internal to support the sales team and external publication to clients and media).
- Expansion of evaluation coverage through client portfolio additions and market initiatives, working to tight deadlines where necessary.
- Implementation and enhancement of quality assurance and control measures within designated field.
- Responsibility for researching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned markets.
- Undertaking of ad-hoc research projects as directed by management.
- Ability to facilitate relationships with market contacts.
Knowledge and Experience
- Fixed income experience as a trader, portfolio manager, evaluator, credit analyst or cashflow modeler.
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income Markets Fundamentals and Structured Securities in ABS, RMBS, CMBS asset classes.
- Ability to work under stringent time constraints and prioritize workload.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of INTEX calc, MS Office, including Excel and VBA. Python/SQL a plus.
- Self-motivated but with ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of various differing bond structures would also be an asset.
- Fixed income modelling skills desirable.
- A good degree in or including Economics, Finance or a Business related subject.
- European language an advantage.
