Our client, a trusted provider of network and communication technology solutions, is looking for a QA Engineer (UX Focused) to elevate the quality of our GUI application that interfaces with the Cloud Platform. What You’ll Be Doing
- Test Planning: Design structured, detailed test plans and cases based on technical specs and UX requirements.
- Quality Execution: Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure seamless usability and system integrity.
- Defect Tracking: Proactively log and manage bugs in Jira, working closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to boost testing speed and reliability.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to clarify requirements and embed quality into every step of development.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure the product meets all accessibility, usability, and security standards, following best practices and company policies.
- Reporting: Deliver insightful QA reports and quality metrics to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
You’ll Succeed If You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid experience in software QA, especially testing GUI apps.
- Hands-on knowledge of QA tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Skills in both manual testing and test automation.
- Experience with test scripting in JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking tools.
- Experience in CI/CD environments, including Docker and Helm deployments.
- Agile/Scrum team experience.
- A user-first mindset and keen attention to detail.
- (Bonus) Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, etc.).
