Job Title: Senior / Principal Medical Writer

Location: London – Hybrid/ potential remote

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Medical Writer to join a leading medical communications agency. This is a senior-level role, offering the opportunity to work on a wide variety of scientific and medical communications projects across multiple therapeutic areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong scientific background, proven experience in medical writing, and the ability to deliver high-quality content for diverse audiences. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and clients, providing guidance and expertise to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and edit scientific content for a range of materials, including publications, congress content, and digital communications.
• Ensure content is scientifically accurate, clear, and meets regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including account managers, medical experts, and clients.
• Mentor and support junior writers as required.
• Contribute to project planning, timelines, and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Extensive experience within medical communications or pharmaceutical settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
