The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring correct and precise stock management, efficiency and correct movement of goods.
Stock Controller responsibilities include:
- Tracking shipments
- Overseeing inventory audits
- Maintaining reports of purchases and pricing
- Maintaining inventory audits on a regular basis
- Performing stock transfers between stores when needed
- Managing supply and demand to prevent understocking or overstocking
- Entering purchase details (invoices, vendor details, pricing) into the internal databases
- Placing orders to replenish stock items as required
- Tracking shipments and keeping records up-to-date on a day-to-day basis
- Overseeing product storage, particularly of fragile items
