About the Role: As Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee the daily flow of service jobs across all service teams including garden maintenance, design, cleaning, window cleaning, handyman and laundry delivery.
You will manage the live schedule, assign jobs efficiently based on postcode zones and van capacity, and ensure that recurring clients and prepaid bookings are optimally balanced to maximise revenue and productivity.
You will also manage the sales agents to ensure prepaid bookings are optimised in the schedule . You will additionally communicate with clients and new customers while maintaining a smooth service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review prepaid online bookings and assign to the correct team and day
- Maintain schedule efficiency across Vans and services
- Route jobs by postcode and ensure optimal area coverage
- Resolve overbookings, last-minute changes and missed appointments
- Coordinate with team managers to confirm van availability and load
- Prepare daily run sheets and assist with weekly route planning
- Support maintenance manager on daily tasks for teams
- Organise operational delivery of products and suppliers for design jobs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatch, scheduling, or operations coordination
- Strong understanding of field management tech and CRM
- Strong grasp of logistics and geographic routing
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience in horticulture/ landscaping advantageous
