King's High School is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Teacher of History from September 2025 or January 2026. The primary duties of the successful candidate will be to teach History across the Key Stages, ensuring that pupils make academic curricular progress and are inspired in their studies. There may also be an opportunity to teach A-level Politics.
The post will be attractive to somebody keen to join a highly successful and forward-thinking school and to contribute to our culture of preparing the changemakers of the future. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department.
Under the guidance of the Head of History and Politics, the successful candidate will also work closely with staff in the other Foundation Schools to ensure coordination and consistency and that pupils at Kings High School benefit from our 'best of both worlds' approach. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of History and Politics.
