What You’ll Do
Join our dynamic team as a Junior Key Account Manager and drive sales growth across leading automotive groups! We’re seeking a proactive professional to explore new business opportunities with regional motor factors, fast-fit centers, and commercial automotive organisations. You’ll engage directly with end-user automotive companies, providing on-site technical support and training.
Your mission: maximise opportunities for new product listings and capture competitive business in the Automotive Power Tools sector, with a focus on achieving 85% penetration and adding value with Hand Tools. Spend 2-3 days a week working with national accounts, supporting branch-level initiatives and end-user workouts. Key Responsibilities
- Account service levels.
- To design and implement account development plans for the automotive channel.
- To negotiate range pricing and promotional deals.
- To maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity, customer trends and provide Business Unit Controllers and team members with this feedback.
- To maintain a database of account information containing: contacts, product range, pricing and margins.
- To monitor procedures to provide best possible customer service.
- To effectively manage the available sales time and account activity, to deliver the desired performance.
- To continually develop in depth technical knowledge of product and marketplace.
- To gain maximum account penetration and distribution of new products.
