Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager - global investment management firm

A leading global investment management firm is hiring experienced Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager to join its high-performing Investment Technology function. The firm leverages a broad array of systematic and quantitative strategies, underpinned by cutting-edge technology, rigorous research, and deep collaboration across trading, technology, and operations teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical projects across multiple global offices, interfacing directly with stakeholders in trading, quantitative research, infrastructure, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into structured technical requirements and project plans.
• Design end-to-end solutions in close partnership with stakeholders across functions.
• Draft clear, comprehensive documentation and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• API / System / Database design tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5–10 years of experience in financial services, including at least 2 years in a Technical BA, Technical PM or Product Owner/Manager role.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate across both business and development teams.
• Solid knowledge of asset classes, including Equities, Options, Futures, or Fixed Income.
• Excellent documentation and requirement elicitation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, with a proven ability to influence and deliver across global
• Hands-on programming experience (ideally Python, Java or KDB+/q).
• Understanding of FIX protocol.
