Role Overview: UPVC Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: North West London

Pay Rate: £24.43 per hour (via umbrella company)

Payment Method: Umbrella company only (NOT CIS)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Measure and fit uPVC windows, doors, and frames accurately.
  • Ensure proper sealing and alignment to prevent drafts or leaks.
  • Install window and door hardware such as locks, handles, and hinges.
  • Carry out repairs to existing uPVC doors and windows (e.g., fixing broken seals, replacing damaged handles or locks).
  • Complete repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Basic DBS check.
  • Valid UK driving license (minimum 6 points).
  • Experience in uPVC installation and repairs.
  • Background in social housing maintenance is preferred.
