We are very pleased to be working alongside our established and very friendly client as they seek to recruit two additional Delivery Drivers on a full time permanent basis within their team. Delivery Driver Full Time Permanent role Monday – Friday 37 hours per week Employer based in Walsall, West Midlands (at company distribution centre) – Routes will be mainly set delivery patterns. You will be expected to drive a transit van type vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes Salary £25000 plus very good company benefits. The role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transport operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to clients using the company fleet. The role would involve driving a 3.5 tonne van. The role – Delivery Driver Working out of the National Distribution Centre in Walsall, West Midlands and reporting to the local Customer Logistics Team Leader, your role will be to contribute to the effective and efficient smooth running of the operation and to ensure the delivery of a cost-effective service for both internal and external customers is achieved. The role involves driving a company transit van to deliver goods to various locations. You’ll need to follow traffic laws, ensure the vehicle is safe and well-maintained. The job requires good driving skills, reliability, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and accurate deliveries of customer orders. Efficient monitoring and management of stock at customer premises Key skills and competencies required: We are seeking a candidate who values teamwork but also possesses the drive and initiative to work independently.
