Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised tuition in GCSE Maths, English, or Science, adapted to individual student needs.
  • Create and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote progress and build academic confidence.
  • Track student development and offer constructive feedback to parents/carers or educational teams.
  • Support learners with SEN needs, adapting methods to ensure accessibility and engagement.
  • Encourage independent learning and a positive mindset around academic growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths, English, or Science at secondary level.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • PGCE in Secondary Education and/or QTS
  • Experience working with students with SEN
