Group Management Accountant

I'm currently partnering with a growing and forward-thinking business in North Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This is a full-time, office-based role with real breadth and visibility – ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end ownership and wants to be part of a growth journey. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience, and QBE, part qualified, or qualified candidates are invited to apply. The business is going through a period of sustained expansion, EBITDA growth is forecast to accelerate significantly through FY26, driven by both organic development and targeted strategy. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of full management accounts for multiple entities from start to finish Assisting with group-level reporting and consolidation Supporting with payroll processing and related finance admin Month-end duties including journals, accruals, and prepayments Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting year-end audit processes About You: You'll need to be confident in preparing a full set of management accounts independently A proactive, organised approach with great attention to detail Experience supporting payroll processes would be a distinct advantage You could be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), part-qualified, or qualified by experience – what matters most is your capability and attitude Strong Excel skills and a willingness to get stuck in At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
