A private equity backed SaaS company within the healthcare sector is looking for an experienced Interim CTO to lead technology strategy, oversee engineering operations, and support the business through a critical phase of transformation. The successful candidate will be a seasoned interim CTO with a strong technical background and experience navigating private equity transactions and M&A due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure efficient product maintenance and iterative improvement.
• Oversee the technical roadmap and ensure the SaaS platform is scalable, secure, and high performing.
• Play a key role in private equity engagements and M&A due diligence processes.
• Ensure implementation of best practices across all technology teams.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between business units.
• Executive management of budgets and spend.
• Act as a senior technology advisor to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Driving innovation and operational efficiency at scale

Required Experience

• Highly experienced background as a technical CTO
• Track record of working with PE backed businesses
• Industry experience within SaaS in an agile environment
• Pre & post deal M&A experience, with a strong understanding of M&A due diligence
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
