Interim CTO
Contract duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid (2 days on site in Surrey)

A private equity backed SaaS company within the healthcare sector is looking for an experienced Interim CTO to lead technology strategy, oversee engineering operations, and support the business through a critical phase of transformation. The successful candidate will be a seasoned interim CTO with a strong technical background and experience navigating private equity transactions and M&A due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure efficient product maintenance and iterative improvement.
- Oversee the technical roadmap and ensure the SaaS platform is scalable, secure, and high performing.
- Play a key role in private equity engagements and M&A due diligence processes.
- Ensure implementation of best practices across all technology teams.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between business units.
- Executive management of budgets and spend.
- Act as a senior technology advisor to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Driving innovation and operational efficiency at scale
Required Experience
- Highly experienced background as a technical CTO
- Track record of working with PE backed businesses
- Industry experience within SaaS in an agile environment
- Pre & post deal M&A experience, with a strong understanding of M&A due diligence
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Healthtech experience
