Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day carrier operations, including account setup, service mapping, and shipping rule configurations.

  • Monitor label generation and shipment flows, ensuring accurate rates, service selections, and timely dispatch.
  • Liaise with carriers (e.g., Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, FedEx) for technical support, service updates, and operational issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for shipping configurations, carrier credentials, and SOPs.
  • Support the Sales and onboarding team with shipping label errors, returns processing, and commercial invoice approval.
  • Occasionally, support the finance team with reconciliation of carrier charges.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce shipping, logistics coordination, or carrier management.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and third-party shipping tools (e.g., ShipStation, Shippo).
  • Familiarity with the logistics industry from express to postal operators to 3PL/ fulfilment.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and shipping logic (zones, service levels, rates).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with both technical systems, sales and customer service teams.
  • Organised, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) is a plus.

We embrace diversity and equality in a serious way. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. Creating a culture of equality isn't just the right thing to do; it's also the smart thing.
