Buyer Team Leader

Are you an experienced Senior/Lead Buyer who wants to develop and join a growing organisation? We are working with a well-respected aerospace manufacturer who due to growth, are looking for a Buyer Team Leader on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previously worked within the manufacturing industry and enjoy building strong relationships with suppliers.   Buyer Team Leader   Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 12pm Site based Derby   Buyer Team Leader Job Description Effective day to day management of designated suppliers Purchase a range of raw materials and components and identify cost reduction opportunities. Lead monthly order book reviews with suppliers to identify performance improvements, supplier risks and mitigation plans. Mentor and support 2 Buyers for their own professional development  Buyer Team Leader Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Well versed carrying out a similar buyer position Accomplished purchasing a range of components and/or raw materials Experienced working within the manufacturing industry Strong communication skills and attention to detail  Buyer Team Leader Company Benefits 20 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays, which increases with length of service.
