Inspecting surfaces to identify and address any imperfections, such as dust, debris, or surface irregularities. Applying tapes, films, and other masking materials to the panels that need to be protected from paint, coatings, or other surface treatments. This ensures that only the intended areas are exposed during the finishing process. Working closely with other team members, such as painters, assemblers, and quality control inspectors, to ensure a smooth production process and high-quality output. As the successful Prepper, you’ll have: Experience in sanding, cleaning, and preparing surfaces, particularly in industries like automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing, where precision and attention to detail are critical. Familiarity with polishing techniques, including the use of hand tools and power tools, to achieve smooth and defect-free surfaces. Previous experience in inspecting and ensuring that surfaces meet quality standards before moving on to the next stage of production. Proficiency in using tools like sanders, buffers, and polishers.
