Midday Meals Supervisor Required - ASAP Start
Location: Newhaven
Position: Midday Meals Supervisor
Hours: Part-time, 1.5 hours Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Term Time Only
Salary: Β£12.92
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist children while they eat, encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Manage playground activities, promoting positive behaviour and inclusive play.
- Address any minor first aid needs and report any incidents to senior staff.
- Support children in developing good social skills and table manners.
- Ensure the dining area and playground are clean, tidy and safe.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
- Basic first aid knowledge is an advantage.
