IT Hardware & Software Category Lead - Global Organisation based in Qatar looking to support relocation to the region - £9-10k per month equivalent plus benefits. This global private organisation, with operations in over 30 countries and seen as one of the most reputable regulated firms in the Middle East, is looking to hire an experienced, dynamic and ambitious IT Procurement specialist to lead this category globally.
There is a real focus on building and driving through category strategy in this role, working closely with the Head of Category Management and CPO to deliver this and align to driving improved supplier relationships across the business. This is a multicultural team, led by experienced procurement leaders from across the globe, with genuine opportunity for impact on a highly reputable organisation, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step into their first regional role in the Middle East, or those already in the region looking to take a step into category leadership.
In return, this organisation are looking for the following skillsets and experience:
- Proven experience of working in a group procurement function, ability to show strategic development of IT category strategies including Software and Hardware
- 10 years plus experience in category management positions, able to demonstrate development throughout career from buyer to management
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Desire to relocate to the region with strong motivations around making the relocation
