The Opportunity: Field Forklift Engineer Contract: Permanent Location: Castleford Salary: up to £36k Our ideal candidate will be experienced in both electrical and mechanical engineering and with a track record in the Forklift Industry, or as a Plant Fitter/Technician or similar roles. Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, servicing and Thorough Examinations to Customers’ equipment as well as our own extensive Hire Fleet You will also liaise directly with your Customer base and be responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing good relationships Completion of documentation to Company Standards Carrying out inspection/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing back to the customer Identifying any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred.
