Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their team located between Bristol and Taunton. Field Service Engineer Taunton, TA1 (can be located between Bristol and Taunton) Full-Time, Permanent Circa £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) company vehicle provided and pension scheme Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a large European group that develops, manufactures and distributes Pay on Foot car parking systems covering the South West of England. Youll be met with an excellent salary package, company vehicle, pension scheme and the opportunity to work for a pioneering company involved with these technically sophisticated parking systems. About the role: As a Field Service Engineer, youll play a key role in maintaining and installing advanced car parking equipment, including barriers, ANPR systems, ticket terminals, and pay stations. Whether troubleshooting on-site or commissioning new systems, your work will support a wide variety of car park sizes and settings. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting customers and staff on-site. Installing and commissioning car parking equipment. Installing and updating car park management software. Servicing and repairing equipment on-site. Investigating and resolving reported issues. Performing scheduled maintenance calls. Maintaining spare parts inventory in your company vehicle. What youll need: Experience as a Technician, ideally with knowledge of Pay on Foot parking systems (advantageous but not essential). Familiarity with IT-based client-server systems, including SQL databases (support will be provided). A clean driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
