- Identify and select suitable sampling and in-situ testing methods (e.g., CPT, boreholes, vane shear).
- Analyse laboratory test results, including triaxial, consolidation, and cyclic tests.
- Establish geotechnical design parameters (e.g., shear strength, stiffness, bearing capacity).
- Prepare Geotechnical Interpretive Reports (GIRs) and Foundation Design Reports (FDRs).
- Provide engineering input for pile, suction caisson, and shallow foundation design.
- Perform axial and lateral pile capacity assessments using established methodologies (API, DNV, ISO).
- Conduct pile installation analysis, including driveability, refusal, and set-up evaluations.
- Support FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed design stages.
- Participate in risk workshops (e.g., HAZID/HAZOP) addressing geotechnical uncertainties.
- Review technical documentation and third-party deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
- Stay current with industry codes, standards, and regulatory updates.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in all project activities.
