A highly rewarding part-time role for a worthwhile charity as a Fundraising Assistant dealing with administrative tasks and customer facing work. This is a part-time role 22.5 hours a week over 5 days, with the option of the role becoming permanent for the right person. Overview A charity based in Darlington. The Role As a Fundraising Assistant no two days are the same and the work you do can be quite responsive. There are a variety of activities to help support on with your admin and customer facing skills. This includes meeting and greeting clients face to face and receipting donations, assisting the team with organising and running events in the local Darlington area. This could involve booking a venue, contacting and organise volunteers for the event or activity, putting together promotional materials for fundraising events and campaigns. This would suit a compassionate individual who would enjoy working in an environment where you purpose is to make a positive impact. The role is an immediate start and there will be the need to work over the Christmas period other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
